Setting up a MailChimp Account
Setting up a MailChimp account is a quick and simple process. In this tutorial I will show you how to set up an account in a few easy steps.
Step one – Go to MailChimp and at the top of the navigation click on the ‘Sign Up For Free’ button
Fill in the boxes, all you need is an email address, a username and password and then click on the ‘Create My Account’ button
Once you’ve done this, you need to check your email to activate the account. You will get an email with ‘Activate your MailChimp account’ in the subject line.
Click on the blue ‘Activate Account’ button.
Confirm you are a human by entering the captcha details and confirm your sign up.
Once you have confirmed your sign up, you’ll then need to add some information about you and your company, there a four simple question, plus your address and the industry that you are in. by adding the industry you are in it allows MailChimp to compare your emails to others in the sector and allow you to benchmark your campaign performance.
After completing this information click on the Save and Get Started button
That’s it, you’re all done. Account opened. In the next tutorial we will set up our list.
